Small Business Spotlight: Female-Founded Accessories

Female Founded Businesses

The Big O Key Ring is so much more than a bracelet keychain - it's a central life hub for all of your daily essentials! Over the years, we've been so fortunate to connect with other female founders and female entrepreneurs across the country whose clever products are a perfect complement to Oventure's Big O Key Ring. We're excited to introduce you to three woman-owned accessory brands who inspire us with their start-up stories and innovative designs.

LIPPY CLIP

After a series of traumatic events, Amy Gabriel, founder of LippyClip®, began sewing lip balm key chains to take her mind off of things. What began as a small Etsy shop traveled quickly by word of mouth, and her unique product offering was in high demand! Today, LippyClip is still proud to be a woman-owned and operated business. Available in 300+ styles, LippyClip is assembled and sewn in central Florida.

LION LATCH

When Lerin Lockwood, a teacher and coach, accidentally damaged her brand new engagement ring during softball practice, she knew she needed to come up with a solution to protect small jewelry on the go! In 2015, Lion Latch was born. Since then, Lerin's invention, a clever yet O sO simple key chain jewelry case for rings, necklaces, and earrings, has been featured on Good Morning America and Shark Tank!

BLINGSTING

After she was gifted a clunky, masculine-looking key chain pepper spray, Blingsting founder Andi Atteberry was inspired to find a way to make safety products for women more appealing and therefore, more useful! Founded in 2013, Blingsting has disrupted the self defense industry with their super sparkly, fashion-forward designs. Today, Blingsting safety products are carried by more than 3 million women nation-wide!
